From dfe9bce8bfaa32bfa7f6f4f671afcde66640086d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Bryce Kwon Date: Thu, 29 Oct 2026 12:02:49 -1000 Subject: Give form controls a border of 3:1 contrast WCAG 1.4.11 asks for 3:1 where the border is what shows a field is there, and the search field has no other edge. The strong grey gives 5.7:1 on the light background and 3.2:1 on the dark one. Hover moves to the text colour so that it still shows. --- assets/cgit.css | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'assets') diff --git a/assets/cgit.css b/assets/cgit.css index f7c1819..a9ae84e 100644 --- a/assets/cgit.css +++ b/assets/cgit.css @@ -134,7 +134,7 @@ div#cgit input { height: var(--control-h); color: var(--fg); background-color: var(--surface); - border: solid 1px var(--border); + border: solid 1px var(--border-strong); border-radius: var(--radius); padding: 0 0.5em; line-height: 1.3; @@ -163,7 +163,7 @@ div#cgit input[type="submit"] { div#cgit select:hover, div#cgit input[type="submit"]:hover { - border-color: var(--border-mid); + border-color: var(--fg); } div#cgit a:focus-visible, -- cgit
